Performance too law in Win XP Home

I now use mysql 3.23.36 in OS Win XP Home Version,CPU is Celeron 2.5G,RAM is 512M,and mysql cooperate with Apache.
But in the second day, when I query data from mysql,its CPU usage is above 50% for a long time(at least more than 2 hours).It cause my application not work.The table I query have about 11,000 record , we create 6 connections,and the user is only one.I am not sure what result in this problem,virus?security?our application?OS bug?mysql bug? Apache bug?We have antivirus software,and we can not find any virus.
Who can help me to resolve this problem,or have any suggestion,or tell me the direction,or suggest any tools to test? Thanks a lot.
