Your column renames leave us guessing what's what.
The relevant Explain result is that MySQL cannot find an index for table `t`, which needs an index on whatever col2,col3 are. If they're text, you'll need to specify indexing length.
And, using Float for a version number misuses that type. Be aware that float and double always return rounding errors. Not, probably, what you had in mind.
