Well i was thinking that when the a ndb node in the cluster comes up that all the data would get pushed to the new node.

it seems that the biggest problem with supporting online adding/removing of nodes in a cluster are the available node ids. I would think that if you created more nodes than needed initially in the config, then one could bring up those nodes later.... this would seem possible as i would assume that if a node crashes in a cluster and comes back up that it should get the data resyncd when the node comes back up.

that being said... when a node comes up then it would seem likely that all the data would get pushed to the new node......

i'm actually going to test this today.. so i'll post my results when i find this out.
