100MBit vs. GBit

Hi everyone!
I'm currently testing MySQL 4.1.10a cluster on 10 PCs. 8 are equipped with 2.8GHz P4, 1GB RAM and 100MBit ethernet interface, on those I have the data nodes running. The other two are slower machines, one for the ndb_mgm and the other one for mysqld.
So far everything is working, but I'm not quite happy with the performance. In my opinion, the bottleneck is the ethernet interface. Will I have a big performance boost when upgrading my 8 data node computers with a gigabit ethernet interface? Or is an additional 1GB RAM for each of those 8 PC more useful? Or should I upgrade RAM & ethernet interface? Which hardware upgrade has a bigger impact on performance?

Thank you guys!
