How do I restore a failed cluster node

Hi.

I have a 3 node test cluster set up and running well.

If one of the data node servers fails for some reason ( ie hardware fault, power loss, network loss etc ) the cluster will keep running on a single data node.

Once I have found and repaired the server fault how do I re-integrate the node back into the cluster

Do I have to take a backup from the good server and restore it to the server that was faulty then restart the cluster?

or do I just re-run the ndbd process on the faulty server and trust that the data will be refreshed automatically?

what is the process to bring online a faulty data node that is no longer up-to-date with the dataset.

How can I tell if the cluster is fully redundant at this moment in time

Much Thanks
Carl.
