Confusion about restore

I am a bit confused about how to go about restoring a database.

Say I have a 2 node (+ 1 management server) cluster, and my database gets completely screwed. What are the steps to perform a restore. Let's the backup is <DATA DIRECTORY>/BACKUP/BACKUP-2, and nothing at all is running in the cluster.

- What parts of the cluster do I start (management server? NDB(s)?, API(s)?
- Should I manually delete any existing data before starting
- What exactly is the backup command I should use (options, etc)
- Do I need to run it on both servers? (One after another? In parallel?)
- Is it better to move all the files to one server before starting the restore?

Basically if I could see a step by step example it would be VERY helpful.
