JDBC and SQL node failover
Posted by: Brian Ong

I saw that in a previous post, the JDBC driver can handle SQL node failover automatically.

Quoting Harrison Fisk in a post dated February 18, 2005 10:19PM:

"The JDBC driver can handle this automatically. The most recent 3.1 releases can handle all of the failover for you."

How is this accomplished? How does the JDBC driver know how to find the other SQL nodes? Are there any special connection parameters?

Thanks,
Brian
