Cluster on Disk - Status ?

Hello !

We started using MySQL 2 years ago or so, and are happy with it.
We have the problem that we are an organisation with 24/7/365 production, and as such need the DB to be online at all times. So far we have managed with one database server, and a slave for replicating data. But.... we really need the cluster functionality, but our data grows with just about 1gig/half year. And well we're not going to spend money on that kind of memory - currently we have 4 gig of data.

So we're eagerly waiting for cluster on disc, but I haven't found much information regardig status of this.
Could someone post the status of when a cluster mysql will be available, without the need for all the data to be stored in memory ?

Best regards
Carsten Skov
