Re: 100MBit vs. GBit

Hi guys!
I switched from 100Mbit to GBit now and what should I say? My querys run 2-3 times faster than before, no matter what configuration I use in the config.ini. More RAM (an additional 2GB for each data node) has already been bought. It should be delivered within the next two weeks.
When I said slower PCs for the ndb_mgm and the mysqld, I didn't mean that slower. They only have 2.6 GHz and a smaller swap partition (which in the case of those two PCs is located on the same harddrive as Linux, because those two have only one harddrive installed. The 8 data nodes have two harddrives whereas their swap partition is located on a seperate hard drive). They also don't get the additional 2GB RAM, but that shouldn't be a big problem.

Thanks for your advises, if you have more of them, keep 'em coming... :)
