So the backup procedure saves some data to each server -- Aside from during backups, what about during normal operation (i.e. when both my servers are up) where exactly is the "data" stored? All of it on both servers? I assume it must be so that if one suddenly crashes there will be no data loss -- is this correct? I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this.
