Actualy I found some documentation and I think I uderstand. The cluster is as simple in design as that storage is moved to the storage clusters, but database quierys are stll done to the mysql server.
As we are running a load balancer for weservers, I look to me that a simple way of solving scaling and renudace is to put a mysql server on each webserver and do the sql quierys to localhost. We shuld then be able to add more webservers as load increases, and also have a simple way design. I understand that putting mysql server on webserver will put an extra strain on the webserver, but this is easely managed with number of webservers in the webcluster. Alsro we shuld monitor each webserver, but that we already do with Nagios.
Does this sound fair?
