Thanks for your suggestions.
I only see a conventional data node log file - no eror or trace files (assuming that they would
appear in the same directory). The data node log file for my single instance doesn't show anything
unusual -- just startup and shutdown events.
The manager log file shows the disconnection message I mentioned in my original post.
I'm rerunning my script. If it fails again, I'll try your BEGIN and COMMIT suggestion.
