Well if you increase the number of DataNodes while keeping NumberOfReplicas the same then RAM usage will decrease on all nodes.

As a rough idea if you currently have 60% free then you will find that after adding the two new nodes you have about 45% used, since the extra 15% on each of the 6 nodes will be spread around the new two nodes. This is a very rough estimate, and does not include the natural overheads of each node. I would be interested to hear what the actual figure turns out to be once you have added the extra nodes.
