5.0 & Pushdown Feature

Where abouts in the my.cnf do I add the option to enable push down.
I see in my system variables engine condition pushdown is set to off. However Im not sure if I need to set this up in the; [MYSQLD] or [MYSQL_CLUSTER] sections, and if I simply put engine_condition_pushdown = On to make it work.
Do I need node restarts also or what? I couldnt find all that much in the documentation about this. Unless I missed it.
