On the Xeon processors, it really depends if you can address more then 4gb. There is Xeon processors which have EMT64 (Extended Memory Technology)-i think. Which allos you to address massive amounts of memory.

As to your other questions is a little unclear as to your problem. However If you have more available memory on the system - and you can increase the DataMemory and IndexMemory a little - this will allow more records to be inserted (if thats your problem)
