1. If i decided to add more memory into the mysql cluster, do i need to at for both nodes ?

You need as much memory as you have issued to the NDBD Nodes. In other words you could have phisical memory of 2GB in one system and 4 GB in the other, but you can not set the memory for NDBD to 3 GB because the first system does not have it to give. You can not set NDBDs to have different memory then other NDBDs.
