It sounds liike MGM is on same computer as one of the NDB nodes. That's not useful for HA.
In any case, one of the NDB nodes will crash. Once network connection is restored the dead node can be restarted.

A dead NDB node must be started manually. We don't have a daemon ("clusterware") which would do it automatically.
