mysql_install_db sets up the system databases and tables - these will appear in the MySQL Server datadirs that you specify.


Note that the data nodes don't store the data under files based on the database or table names. The fact that you're seeing ndbinfo, mysql etc. there makes me think that you passed data/data to install the MySQL Server files there - it looks like this server is not meant to be running MySQL Server processes at all and so I wouldn't run it on this machine.

It also looks like you're running 2 data nodes (id's 11 & 21) on this host whereas your config.ini is only showing 1. It all makes me wonder whether you're starting your ndb_mgmd properly - could you please confirm what commands you're using (and from which hosts) for each of your nodes?
