If the database currently takes up 15gb of RAM you should still overallocate memory as you will need that room to move, and grow.

Cluster is a memory hungry setup, as it engine is based in memory.
Disk is cheap these days.

You can search the Cluster List and Forum for reference to ndb_size from Stewart Smith, which is a perl script which will help calculate memory requirements for tables in engine NDBCLUSTER.
