What you want to do is:
- optimise your existing setup

This may include:
- tuning cache parameters
- adding a replication slave
- switching to cluster

Don't leap to cluster as your first attempt at optimisation. Remember that the HA aspect does have some overhead.

Have a read of the relevant sections of the manual, ask in other forums (about tuning and replication) or contact support. (depending on the urgency and time constraints you have).
