Yes, you can put the web server and your SQL client on the same machine. It even makes sense, if you're tying one SQL node to one web server anyway. SQL queries are sent to localhost, no network latency or bottleneck.
Depending on the computational cost of your queries, you might need more RAM and/or a better CPU. But that's really depending on the jobs you are perfroming on those machines.
