FKs in cluster
Hi,
Sorry if this was asked already, but I could not find it in the forum.
Is it planned to support foreing keys between cluster tables (NDBCLUSTER type) some time soom? (ex. v5.1?)
If not? why?
Isn't it possible to simulate FKs with Mysql's 5.0 triggers?
It is quite unconfortable for a DB designer to have to include a trigger for each foreing key, but it is relatively easy for mysql db developers to activate a predefined fk triggered checks for each user defined fk, or am I wrong?
I am trying to push software-clustered database solutions (not using special hw like SAN o NAS) within my company (all others are Oracle fans, but big bosses hesitate to pay the bills...) and cannot 'sell' them anything without FKs, it seems something very basic for us.
Thanks for your help!
Jose
