I have to admit, this is not an issue I deal with very much, since the normal scenario for MySQL Cluster assumes a dedicated/segregated network and no SSL being used between nodes. So I am reaching a bit here. ;-)

This looks very much like the --ssl-ca option for mysqld. Have you tried specifying the list using PEM format, as is suggested under the description for that option?
