Thanks a lot for your time.I just read the great paper.
According to the case 4) you mentioned,such things may happen:
1) Assuming the node crashed for a long time,and many rows has changed since the crash.
As a result,to scan such data row-by-row and to send so many rows would take a lot of time.
2) In the meantime,such rows are being updated frequently by some applications.
Is it true that case 1) would affect the normal operation for applications,the performation would go worse and this would slow the updating.
