The above config lacks a [ in the first line.
Other than that it looks ok. I tried it and it
worked.
Some notes:
1) You need to start ndb_mgmd on a node that has an
interface for IP 10.0.2.9.
2) You will get a warning if you don't use --ndb-nodeid
to set the node id of the NDB mgm server.
So the line 7 above that was wrong is fixed now.
I presume you missed the =
I tested and if I replace
HostName=IP
with
HostName IP
then I get exactly the error message you got.
Personally I always set node ids on nodes as well
except possibly for API nodes.
