The inter-data-node messaging when writing is needed to ensure that
we have the replicas in synch. NDB uses synchronous replication
during a transaction. Without this the data is at higher risk at
node failures.
This is one of the key advantages of NDB that replicas are in synch.
When they are not in synch you cannot really know what you are reading
and the results differ dependent on from which MySQL server you read.
