4.1.8 should be released relatively soon now. It is in the process of being built, so expect it in the next few weeks.

MySQL Cluster is currently considered a Gamma release. There will be no more big feature changes in 4.1 AFAIK. I don't know when it will be declared production however. Having more users and testers should speed the process up of course, so don't be afraid of the Gamma tag.
