Hi Pradeep,

We suspect the issue you're stumbling on (the crash) is a regression in 8.0.23. Using all data nodes using 8.0.22 should be ok.

We'll be looking into this issue next coming versions. Again, it's interesting that in your setup you can reproduce this quite easily. I still wonder which schema / hardware / network leads to such crash - any extra info would help use to better diagnose the issue.

Regarding the usage of data nodes in different versions that is supported but we disallow DDL (e.g. table creations). When adding new data nodes, those should be in the same version as your already running cluster.
