Can you please provide the benchmark link?

I can see that in my test for 500 concurrent threads, the hardware is hardly utilised upto 10%. This leaves ample room for MySQL to further scale (vertical scaling).

Horizontal scaling (due to the limit of 500 concurrent threads) leaves a lot of clutter in my infrastructure. Furthermore, the load on my system is going to be 100,000 users. This means I will have to spin out potentially 100,000/500=200 servers.

Even if I have 4 to 5 database service on one hardware server, I will still have to take care of 50 hardware servers and about 200 database service.

Has anyone used the thread pool service - commercial version of MySQL Cluster?
