Which one will do the most work? ( sql node or storage node)

Which nodes do the most work? the storage nodes or sql nodes?

I have a machine with 4 cpu (intel xeon 2.8 4mb cache) and 4 gb of ram.
And my other machine is dual cpu xeon.. And i couldnt decide whcih one will be storage node or sql node.. Which one will do the most work? I think the it must be the storage work but i am not sure..
