Thank you. I could refer to some of the archives in the forum and the cluster mailing list. My understanding from the above discussions is that :
In order for a cluster to run and get HA you need at least 3 machines.

- In the cluster mailing list i could not understand the discussion at http://lists.mysql.com/cluster/1420
Can you give some more clarity on this arbitrator and the split brain problem. ?
Is this Arbitrator concept imposes the cluster set up to have minimum 3 machines.


- My requirements do not allow me to take a third machine. In my testing i could have a setup running with 2 machines eaching having a mgmt server + 2 data nodes + 2 sql nodes. But getting some problems when i try to kill one mgmt server and start again. Could you please confirm whether cluster set up with only two machines is possible or not. Possibly please also let me know the problems that can come up with this approach.
