How to cleanly shutdown a cluster

We have got a mysql cluster up and running, however it isn't at all clear how you can shut down the cluster cleanly. I wish to have a script that will cleanly shutdown the cluster if a machine is being shutdown (to avoid data loss etc). How can this be done? It appears it can be done interactively using the ndb_mgm shutdown command, but this is no good for use in a script.

Thanks in advance
