Subqueries in NDB cluster

Hi All,

I'm having a mysql cluster setup with 2 data nodes in Redhat with 1GB RAM in each.I'm facing a problem when my application executes a sub query ,it does not receive any thing and get hanged. when i try to execute the same query in the mysql client/prompt, it behaves in the same manner [does not return anything, just hanged]. This behaviour leads to mysql database poor performance such that after the subquery execution the performance of the mysql goes down.

please note : my subquery applies to the same table , i.e main query and the sub query refer to the same table.

eg :

select * from MY_RULES where RLS_STATUS = 'PENDING' and RLS_PARENT_RULE_ID not in (select RLS_RULE_ID from MY_RULES where RC_RULE_CODE = 'COMPLEX' and RLS_STATUS = 'PENDING_CREATION'))
