Re: Test cluster slower than single machine
I noticed with iostat while doing the cluster tests on a single SGI that I am getting considerable iowait on what seems to be about 5 second intervals. I have specified diskless=1 under [NDB_DEFAULT] but I have also read that the checkpoints are still performed just not actually written to disk when diskless is on. This could be an issue because the SGI has pretty slow sata system drives and that is why I was running tests diskless to take that out of the equation. Could diskless not be working right for me and I am hitting an io bottleneck? If so, how do I get around that?
Thanks again,
Brad
