Annoying reconnecting message on slave

I'm using MySQL Server 4.1.14 on Master and Slaves.
All of them running Windows 2003 Server.

On the slaves
I keep getting this message
051011 19:23:13 [ERROR] Error reading packet from server: Lost connection to MySQL server during query (server_errno=2013)
051011 19:23:13 [ERROR] Slave I/O thread: Failed reading log event, reconnecting to retry, log 'XXXX-bin.000006' position 105114
051011 19:23:13 [Note] Slave: connected to master 'repl@XXXX:3306',replication resumed in log 'XXXX-bin.000006' at position 105114

something like this every hour. Replication is still running fine. I understand that it's the connection reset every hour that causes this problem. Is that away to stop it from logging into Windows Application Event log. It's kinda filled up my Application log which is pretty annoying.
