Hmmmm. there you have a point. The bin files indeed have a 6 digit number sequence.
The error log does point to the correct bin.index file though, so I expect it to find the correct files through the bin.index
I've changed the master log file name to bin.log when I was following a tutorial on setting up replication. I'll try to change it back to the default, I'll let you know wether it worked or not. Thanks for your help!
