Re: slave downloads server-relay-logs until hard drive fills and crashes server

to clarify, i'm using version 4.1.10

I should add that when this happens (twice in 2 days) i have to delete one of the relay-logs to free up some space. Then i make sure that the slave is stopped. i resync the databases manually (15G) and flush both the master & slave. It is a very tedious process.

This creates another problem because i've deleted a relay-log that the server thinks still exists. If i would restart replication it would eventually notice the missing instructions. How to i tell mysql to redownload those binary logs? Any suggestions on a fix for this?

thanks again.
