How do i conclude that a master and slave(s) are in sync

Hi,

I have setup a Master/Slave connectivity for replication. And i could see the changes in the master reflecting the slave. From the database level, i could see that they both (master and slave) are in sync.

is there any way, i can confirm if both are in sync through the output of "show master status\G" and "show slave status\G" commands or any other means??

any suggestions would be much appreciated !!
