"Seconds behind master"-Value jumping

Hi,

we have a MySQL-Replication with one master and one slave. From today one my monitoring system started sending me SMS as the "Seconds behind master"-Value on our slave (looked up with "SHOW SLAVE STATUS\G") was between 554 and 557. The only thing we changed today: We started sending Select-Queiies to our slave too.

Interesting: There is no difference in data. When I check the consistency of the data manually, everything is okay. When i execute the "SHOW SLAVE STATUS\G"-Query 20 times on the slave manually (twice a second), in 18 cases the "Seconds behind master"-Value is 0 and in 2 cases it's between 554 and 557. Absolutely strange...

Maybe anybody has an idea here? The server times are identically.

Thanks in advance,
Moritz
