Replicating server has died

Folks,
We have two servers replicating to each other and one of them has had a drive failure. It is using MyIsam tables only. As I have been tasked to fix the problem, what do I need to be thinking about?

I plan to replace the failed server and resyncronize the databases. I would like to turn off replication on the remaining server until I replace the failed one, then turn replication back on.

Should I turn off binary logging? Do I need to reset master, reset slave, flush logs, etc?

Thanks.
