I have taken on a project at work to increase the performance and availability of our php application. Currently, we have one main server that runs our application and another server which runs our crm.

We have purchased the following hardware:
1 x Coyote Point E350GX Load Balancer
2 x Sun Fire x4275 (72GB Ram, dual xeon 5560's, 15k for data and SSD's for index storage).
1 x HP GL160 G6 for Monitoring

We currently have:
2 x Dell PE2950 (16gb ram)

We plan to repurpose our two existing servers as mirrored web servers and use the coyote point to load balance web traffic. Our CRM and application will both live on these servers instead of being broken out on their own.

For mysql, we are planning to use MMM with the two Sun Fire's and the HP to run the monitoring agent.

I am fairly new to load balancing and replication so I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can deploy all this nice hardware. Ideally, we would somehow be able to load balance the mysql traffic as well as the web traffic using the coyote point but I'm not entirely sure how to do this yet.

Thanks in advance.
TJ
