I guess MySql 4.1.9 is not perfect at Win98.

I installed a new MySql on a win2k Server and work as a master. It works fine. At the slave, win2k Professional, there is no error message. But the database does not update. Everything is fine, but the replication happens. I am figuring what is wrong. I have checked the master, everything seems fine. I did not find any error.

I simple created a table in test and insert one record in it. I wish I could see it will appear at the slave, but not.

Thank you for your comment 2, which is what I guessed. I tried to run reset slave, but it does not work. Whenever I start the server, it will be in slave mode, but cannot connect to the master. Anything else I need to do or I can do please?

I guess there is no problem for mysql to replicate over internet connection. Is that correct?
