Hi,
Only the statements which change data are replicated. Exceptions are (starting from 4.1):
OPTIMIZE/ANALYZE/REPAIR TABLE even though they don't change data (well REPAIR may change data if table was corrupted), because they still can change how a query is optimized, which could change the order of selected rows in a later INSERT...SELECT.
