Please can somebody shine some light on this topic.
I also have a setup with a read/write master and a read only slave.
Still triggers occasionally give problems generating "duplicate primary keys".
I solved it by deleting the triggers on the slave (so the logging tables are only on the master), but in the future the slave has to become a read/write replica, so this solution is not futureproof.
If anyone can solve this mystery?
