Hi,
The master or slave does not use its server id to communicate.Server id is given to identify which is master and which is slave, It is a standard to follow series of number to unserstand easily.

The communication between the master and slave is done by issuing a "change master to"

Now change your master server id to 2 and slave server id to 1 and restart the service. the replication will happen. so that you will understand practically server id id does not do anything.
