Seconds_Behind_Master strangely fluctuating

Hello, everyone,

on one of our latest slaves in a one master/three slaves relication scenario, one slave is showing strange fluctuations of the value "Seconds_Behind_Master". Even during low-accessed times, when all other slaves with the same configuration show 0 as value, it sometimes goes to 15 seconds, then 14, then back to 0 again. But not slowly as it would during high load. if you refresh the value very often, you get results like:
0 0 0 0 15 14 0 0 0 0 0 15 14 ... sometimes also 7 and 6 instead of 15/14. this is strange.

fedora core 2, mysql 4.1.11

any advice highly appreciated.
