MySQL replication-Table doesn not exist

Hello guys,

Coming from an Oracle background,am a Newbie to mysql replication.One of our slave server jus died and I had to rebuild it from the master(Prod).Rsync'd the data directory to the slave and started the mysql server.Figured out the master log file name and the log position using 'show master status' command and started replication from the slave using 'change master to..;.Below is the output from the 'show slave status' command.But when i try to describe a table it comes up with an error saying table does not exist.Can someone tell me what is happeing here.?
