Master Master replication using Galera

Good afternoon all,

I have a question regarding MASTER to MASTER Replication. Has anyone ever used Galera clustering for replication? All of the documentation I have found online has been great, and it appears that it would be the right scenario for us, since in the past we were using a SBR model for our Master to Master replication and it would break a lot. So now we're moving into the cloud and we need to have a better replication solution, Galera seems to be the best option right now and it appears to be pretty straight forward from a configuration and installation standpoint.

However my only issue is the fact that the documentation I have found seems to be pointing to me removing the existing MySQL instance and installing a fresh mysql-wsrep package. I haven't found any documentation that states you can just install it over top an existing instance. Any information you can provide would be great, thanks

Lance
