Multi-source replication does not starts after instance restart

I have configured multi-source replication on two environments.

Environment #1 : created a new instance and then started to replicate from four channels.


Environment #2 : Create a slave of a databases.
Added four more channels to replicate from four different tables.


On env#1 : After Instance restart, starts all the four channels and replication proceeeds.

On Env#2 : After instance restart only one channel ( the one which gets data from the original master ) starts. other channels do not start and I have to manually get the values from error.log and start the channels at correct replication cordinates.

Wondering if anyone has seen these issues ?
