Replication stopped with no errors

I have a situation where no errors are logged in the error log and the show slave status commands shows both threads working and zero (0) fort he last error code, but the Seconds_Behind_Master continues to grow. This is on MariaDB V5.5.52. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix besides rebuilding the slave?
